Project Background
Currently in Ireland, there is a lack of bereavement supports for those navigating the coronial system. An expert group identified a need to establish international best practice in this area. It was decided to approach this in the following two ways:
- Identify the types of supports provided in other countries/regions
- Compile any research evidence in relation to the navigation of the coronial system
Project Aims
The aim of this project is to identify and evaluate bereavement supports available internationally for those who are navigating the coronial system, to inform future progress in an Irish context.
