Audrey joined the NSRF in 2024 as a Research Officer. In this position, Audrey is working on the Youth Suicide Bereavement project exploring the experiences of supports for children, adolescents and young adults who have been bereaved by suicide.

Audrey has previously completed a BA in Applied Psychology and a MA in Applied Psychology Mental Health, both in UCC. Audrey has previously been awarded a research scholarship from the Health Research Board and also completed various internships within the School of Applied Psychology UCC. Audrey also has experience in a variety of roles working directly with vulnerable young people. Audrey completed a six-month clinical placement in a CAMHS adolescent inpatient unit, volunteered for three years with Niteline, UCC’s late night student listening service, as a general volunteer and new volunteers officer, and also volunteered for several years with Cork Life Centre, an alternative education setting for vulnerable young people.
