Clinical Facilitator & Post-Doctoral Researcher

Darragh completed his psychology degree at University College Cork in 2011. Since then, he has attained a master’s degree in health psychology from the University of Bath, a doctoral degree in Health Psychology from the University of the West of England, and a post-graduate diploma in cognitive behavioural therapy from Royal Holloway, The University of London. In addition to his academic qualifications, he has undertaken training in eye movement desensitisation therapy, narrative exposure therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive behavioural therapy.

Darragh is a chartered member of the Irish Psychological Society, and an associate fellow of the British Psychological Society.

Before joining the NSRF in 2024, Darragh spent 11 years working in the United Kingdom’s National Health Service, where he delivered individual and group psychological interventions for people living with physical and mental health conditions.

Darragh brings his experience and enthusiasm to the NSRF to support the MENTBEST and MHAINTAIN projects.
