Project Overview
The Model of Care for Adults Accessing Talking Therapies while Attending Specialist Mental Health Services was published in April 2021 by HSE Mental Health Services. The aims of this national Model of Care include enhancing access to relevant therapies, improving safety and quality in service delivery, and improving effectiveness and enhanced experience for service users.
The Model of Care is being rolled out on a phased basis across some Community Healthcare Organisations (CHOs).
Funded by HSE Mental Health Operations, this project involves the evaluation of this pilot phase of implementation of the Model of Care. Is it a qualitative study involving site visits, semi-structured interviews and an online survey.

The aim of this project is to evaluate the initial implementation of the Talking Therapies Model of Care.
